Wild Horses

In the blistering summer heat of North Dakota’s badlands, I found them—untamed, unruled, and impossibly beautiful.

These wild horses are descendants of animals once brought here by people, yet they’ve endured without us—resilient, scarred, defiant. I photographed them in stark black and white, drawn to their tangled manes, weathered coats, and the fierce strength in their eyes.

Each image in this series is a portrait of strength born of survival. Framed tightly, these moments capture not just the physical presence of the horse but something more: a connection, a reverence, a brief glimpse into the lives of the untamed.

Created for those who crave elegance with an edge—art that holds wildness and beauty in tension.
