Landscapes
Giant windswept sand dune with dramatic skies and texture. Variations in the sand color are due to differing amounts of iron content in the sand.
These textures and shapes are carved by winds each day. Tomorrow different shapes and patterns replace them. No two days in the desert will look exactly alike.

Even in the presence of dark clouds, the light find a way through. The horizon embraces the sky and water reflects the light.

Ruins of a once great estate, with so many stories that played within its walls. Now perhaps only myths and ledgends are left.
While in Yellowstone national park, I was fascinated by the colors and shapes produced by the geothermal activity that makes the park famous. I particularly love the colors and shapes in this photograph.

My favorite parts of this photograph are the way the sun-lit background contrasts with the grasses in shade. As the move further away from the camera they go out of focus, creating a beautiful dreamlike and soft texture that particularly appeals to me.
